Today marks an exciting milestone for our team at Rezilient Health – we're opening our third St. Louis CloudClinic in Sunset Hills, serving the South County area. This new location is proof that our direct primary care model is resonating with employers and employees throughout the region.
When we started Rezilient, we knew we were onto something special. But seeing the demand grow so rapidly that we've doubled our team in just six month is validation we couldn't have imagined. Our aggressive growth trajectory continues with several additional clinics planned nationally over the next 6-12 months, all fueled by our successful $10 million Series A funding round last year.
Why we're doubling down on St. Louis
"Opening our third St. Louis location demonstrates our commitment to this market and validates the tremendous demand for our direct primary care model," says our CEO and co-founder Danish Nagda. "Our employer partners are seeing dramatic cost savings while their employees receive unprecedented access to comprehensive healthcare services."
The numbers speak for themselves. We're solving real problems for companies like John Henry Foster, Cosmos Corp, Shaefer Autobody, Woodard, and SCCAD. These employers are tired of unpredictable healthcare costs and employees who can't get the care they need when they need it.
How our CloudClinic model actually works
What makes our approach different is our hybrid care delivery system that combines remote physician expertise with on-site medical support. Think of it as having a remote primary care provider available immediately, supported by trained on-site medics who operate our digitally connected medical tools in real-time.
This isn't about replacing human connection. Our on-site medics are specially trained to facilitate patient interactions and operate specialized equipment, ensuring that technology amplifies rather than diminishes the personal side of healthcare. The result is that we deliver the full spectrum of primary, urgent, and specialty care services while maintaining clinical outcomes above the 90th percentile against key in-person primary care benchmarks.
Most importantly, patients get same-day access to comprehensive healthcare without the traditional barriers of scheduling delays or geographic limitations to specialist care.
The economics that actually make sense
Our COO and co-founder Jeff Gamble explains the value proposition simply: "Our employer partners pay one simple per-member-per-month fee that covers comprehensive primary, urgent, and specialty care for their employees. This predictable cost structure, combined with easy access to preventative care, helps employers avoid the thousands of dollars in downstream healthcare costs associated with chronic conditions and emergency interventions."
The direct primary care model addresses what might be the most pressing challenge facing employers today: rapidly escalating healthcare costs. When employees can access no-cost preventative care immediately, they address health issues before they become expensive chronic conditions.
We're seeing our employer partners save thousands of dollars per employee annually while also reducing their year-over-year insurance premium increases. When employees can access preventative care immediately without copays or deductibles, everyone wins – employers control costs, and employees get better health outcomes.
What this means for our growth
This Sunset Hills location give us comprehensive coverage of the St. Louis market. With three locations now operational, we're positioned perfectly for continued growth while demonstrating that innovative healthcare delivery can be both clinically excellent and economically sustainable.
The broader market demand for innovative healthcare delivery models is driving our expansion beyond St. Louis. Our several additional clinics planned for the next 6-12 months will establish our presence in new geographic markets while serving as a foundation for continued national expansion.
We've doubled our workforce in the last six months, adding clinical staff, technology specialists, and business development professionals to support this trajectory. This hiring surge has made us one of the most visible examples of St. Louis's thriving healthcare innovation ecosystem.
Looking forward
The Sunset Hills location will serve employees from several regional companies, and the clinic's presence in South County strengthens our ability to serve existing customers while attracting new employer partners throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area.
As Danish puts it: "We're demonstrating that innovative healthcare delivery can be both clinically excellent and economically sustainable."
For us, this third location is validation that we're building something that truly matters for employers, employees, and the future of healthcare delivery. And we're just getting started.
