Rezilient CEO Danish Nagda to keynote STL Startup Week 2025

October 6, 2025

We're thrilled to share some exciting news: our CEO and co-founder, Danish Nagda, will deliver the keynote address at STL Startup Week 2025 this November. It's an incredible honor to represent the St. Louis entrepreneurial community at this year's conference, which takes place November 10-14 across five hubs in the Greater St. Louis Metro Region.

Why we're passionate about healthcare innovation

If you've followed our journey, you know that Rezilient Health was born from a deeply personal experience. Danish watched his father remain undiagnosed with sleep apnea for 20 years — a condition that ultimately led to preventable heart failure. That experience crystalized something we all instinctively know: our healthcare system has significant gaps in accessibility and attentive care delivery.

As Danish often says, "Healthcare represents one of the greatest opportunities for entrepreneurial impact, but success requires deep understanding of both the clinical and business challenges." That insight has guided everything we've built at Rezilient Health, from our CloudClinic model to our commitment to eliminating barriers to care.

The CloudClinic difference

Our innovative CloudClinic model addresses critical gaps in healthcare access by combining remote physicians with on-site trained medics and advanced diagnostic technology. The result is same-day access to high-quality primary and specialty care, with zero out-of-pocket costs for employees and reduced expenses for employers.

We're proud of what we've achieved so far:

  • 100% client retention rate among our employer partners
  • 92+ net promoter score from patients
  • Over 200 employer partners who trust us with their teams' healthcare
  • Five CloudClinic locations (Stillwater, OK; Dallas, TX; and three in St. Louis)
  • Multiple new locations planned to open nationally by early 2026

These numbers represent thousands of employees who now have convenient access to the care they need, when they need it, without worrying about costs or long wait times.

From Schoology to healthcare: An entrepreneurial journey

Before founding Rezilient Health, Danish created Schoology, the first social learning platform, which now serves over 20 million users across 130 countries. That experience building scalable technology solutions, combined with his medical training at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and his ENT residency at Washington University in St. Louis, uniquely positioned him to reimagine healthcare delivery.

Danish has also served in advisory roles for companies including Doximity, Inventr, and Enterprise Bank & Trust, bringing insights from across the healthcare and technology landscape to our mission.

St. Louis: The perfect home for innovation

St. Louis has provided the perfect environment for Rezilient to grow, with incredible talent, supportive investors, and a community that believes in solving hard problems. As Danish will share in his keynote, this city exemplifies what's possible when entrepreneurs tackle complex challenges with both boldness and deep domain expertise.

Matt Menietti, Executive Director of the TechArtista Foundation and Lead Organizer of STL Startup Week, captured this sentiment perfectly: "Danish represents everything STL Startup Week celebrates about our entrepreneurial ecosystem. He's a physician-entrepreneur who identified a critical problem in healthcare access and built a scalable solution right here in St. Louis."

Our mission continues

This keynote opportunity is a reminder of why we do this work. Every day, we're driven by the belief that everyone deserves accessible, high-quality healthcare — without the barriers of cost, complexity, or inconvenience.

As we continue expanding our CloudClinic model nationally, we're grateful for the community that's supported us, the employer partners who've trusted us, and most importantly, the patients whose lives we have the privilege of improving every day.
