Celebrating the Launch of Rezilient with WakeMed CloudClinics

March 16, 2026

Rezilient Health and WakeMed recently celebrated an important milestone together: the official ribbon cutting for the Rezilient with WakeMed CloudClinic in Clayton, North Carolina.

The event marked the launch of the Rezilient with WakeMed partnership and highlighted a new model designed to improve access to care for WakeMed employees while also introducing a new option for employers across the Raleigh and Research Triangle region.

The Clayton location is one of four Rezilient with WakeMed CloudClinics now open across the region, joining locations in Cary, Chapel Hill, and North Raleigh.

A New Model for Access to Care

Rezilient with WakeMed is designed to make it easier for employees to access care while staying connected to the strength of a leading local health system.

The model connects three important elements of care:

  • WakeMed’s on-site biometrics and wellness programs
  • Rezilient’s high-access, same-day hybrid primary care model
  • WakeMed’s specialty and hospital services for downstream care

Together, these elements create a simplified and coordinated care experience for employees. Care begins with preventive screenings and primary care and connects seamlessly to WakeMed specialists and hospital services when additional care is needed.

All care pathways are integrated through WakeMed’s systems, helping reduce fragmentation and ensuring providers stay aligned throughout a patient’s care journey.

A New Benefit for WakeMed Employees

Rezilient with WakeMed first serves WakeMed employees as a new health benefit designed to make accessing care easier and more convenient.

Key features of the benefit include:

  • Same-day and next-day virtual or hybrid primary care access
  • A simplified entry point into the WakeMed health system
  • Better coordination between primary care, specialists, and hospital services

The goal is to help employees receive care earlier, navigate the health system more easily, and experience a more convenient and connected care journey.

“This partnership is about giving our employees more options, not fewer. They don’t have to change their current coverage, but they now have a new way to access care that’s more convenient, more coordinated, and more affordable. Healthier, happier employees are good for families, good for businesses, and good for the Triangle.”

What’s Included in the Rezilient with WakeMed Benefit

$0 copay, $0 deductible, every time: Every primary care visit, urgent care visit, and specialist e-consult is completely covered.

$0 out-of-pocket cost for all Rezilient services: There are no surprise bills and no hidden fees. Employees can access care when they need it without worrying about unexpected costs.

Coverage for you and your family: The benefit includes employees and their dependents ages 7 and older at no cost.

Additional Value for Employees

Rezilient with WakeMed also offers a care experience designed around accessibility and relationships.

Longer, more personalized visits: Appointments are designed to give employees more time with providers, allowing for deeper conversations, better care planning, and stronger provider relationships.

In-person and virtual care options: Employees can visit a Rezilient with WakeMed CloudClinic or connect with their care team virtually depending on what works best for their schedule.

Convenient care for everyday health needs
Employees can use Rezilient with WakeMed for many common concerns, including:

  • Preventive and wellness visits
  • Cold, flu, and minor illness care
  • Medication management
  • Mental health and sleep concerns
  • Women’s and men’s health needs
  • And more

A Partnership Focused on Access, Coordination, and Value

As Rezilient Health CEO Dr. Danish Nagda shared during the event, “Rezilient with WakeMed is giving employees a new way to experience healthcare: a simple front door to care that combines high-access primary care with the strength of a leading local health system. Together, we’re expanding access, improving coordination, and making it easier for people to get the right care at the right time.”

He added that the partnership is designed to work alongside existing health plans rather than replacing them.

WakeMed President and CEO Donald Gintzig emphasized the importance of improving access for employees and the broader community.

“WakeMed has always been committed to improving the health and well-being of our community. By partnering with Rezilient, we can bring an innovative, prevention-focused care model directly to employees and local employers—one that connects on-site screenings, primary care, and our specialist and hospital services in a seamless experience.”
